3 seasonings against old age and diseases

by | Feb 5, 2022 | Foods | 0 comments

Hello dear friends! I will tell you about three types of seasonings that you need to use every day (at least I try to do it and advise you). Because these seasonings allow you to fight age-related changes and protect against diseases that we usually associate with age. There are:

  • ordinary turmeric (which you can use with black pepper)
  • red hot pepper
  • ginger

In turmeric, which I use as a regular food seasoning. Without any capsules and no special additives. The main active ingredient is curcumin.

Curcumin affects intracellular enzymes that allow us to preserve our DNA from damage.

The fact is that in the process of vital activity, DNA, as you know, is the main carrier of genetic information. DNA is constantly exposed to various attacks from external and naturally internal environments.

As a result, we have the reparative forces of the body (which repair our DNA) after some time cannot cope with the load that exists during a person’s life. And sooner or later, our DNA begins to change its structure. Some errors appear, which then cause disturbances in cell division. as a result, there may be:

  • old cells
  • cancer cells
  • changes in the cells of the immune system
  • and, in general, all those processes of destruction of the body that are associated with old age

Sirtuins

So curcumin can activate enzymes called sirtuins. Sirtuins are such special enzymes that prevent our DNA from being damaged. And this is the first remarkable property of curcumin.

Secondly, curcumin promotes an intracellular enzyme called single-enzyme facade activated protein kinase.

This enzyme activates autophagy processes, observed in all living cells, not only in yeast fungi. As some people think, taking the phrase Sumy Yoshinori out of context. He was just investigating yeast fungi as the simplest model for studying autophagy processes. And so, autophagy is inherent in all organisms, regardless of the complexity of their organization. If we didn’t have autophagy, our cells would, well, roughly speaking, be mired in products and vital activity and would die very quickly.

So curcumin activates the processes of autophagy. Indirectly through the enzyme of a single-enzyme activated protein kinase on the one hand, on the other hand, it inhibits the action of an enzyme such as NTOR1, which promotes anabolism and inhibits autophagy.

When the NTOR1 complex is stimulated, various benign and malignant tumors can be observed in humans. Therefore, in the form of curcumin, we get such an irreplaceable source of activation of sirtuins and activation of autophagy. Therefore, in general, it is a sin not to use it.

The fact is that another important point is that curcumin can simulate physical exertion and fasting. The fact is that both during fasting and during physical exertion, the level of activated protein kinase single-enzyme increases. And the NTOR1 level drops accordingly. And such an effect can be achieved either by physical exertion, sometimes exuding, sometimes inaccessible to a person who, for example, has some health problems.

Activation of adiponectin

The second action of curcumin, which is not related to data protection, is the activation of adiponectin. Adiponectin is a hormone that is produced by fat cells. it can also be produced by cells:

  • vessels
  • of our muscles
  • liver
  • and heart

Adiponectin receptors mediate the action of adiponectin in two main directions, these are:

  • improving insulin sensitivity and thus reducing the level of insulin, we keep and reducing sugar levels.
  • And the second action is the protection of the vascular wall from atherosclerotic lesions.

We all know that the older a person gets, the higher his chances of getting type 2 diabetes, insulin resistance develops, and besides atherosclerotic vascular lesions develop. And here, turmeric curcumin can also help us.

How much turmeric should I consume?

So, regarding the dosage, how much it should be consumed by eye. The fact is that there have been no randomized clinical trials with a double-blind placebo. No one really knows what exact dosage is needed to achieve the effect. Therefore, it is necessary to add just to taste by eye and not forget, along with turmeric. Also, black pepper contributes to a better bioavailability of curcumin.

Ginger

The next item is ginger. Well, I’ll put it together with red hot pepper on the same board. Because in addition to also various good effects, I am personally interested in the stimulation of adiponectin again. The same adiponectin is also stimulated by turmeric.

How much ginger can you eat per day?

And about the amount of ginger and red hot pepper, naturally, there are no guidelines naturally. No one has conducted randomized clinical trials. In order to accurately calculate a certain dose.

Before that, in principle, it is not necessary. It is enough that it is delicious, and it can be consumed almost every day. Well, naturally to those people who are carrying it all over. If you can’t stand it, well, when you don’t use it, that’s all.

Well, a few words. Some skeptics say that turmeric is a traditional seasoning that is used in India. If it were so good, then all the inhabitants of India would shine with excellent health and would live for a very long time. Again, such an assumption is possible only when turmeric and sirtuins activation are the only factors that affect life expectancy.

But you all understand perfectly well that people’s level of education, the level of medicine, the state of the environment, and many, many other factors affect the state of human health. Therefore, to say that curcumin does not justify hopes since the inhabitants of India do not live so long already. There is simply no reason for this. That’s it. Thank you very much for your attention to everyone, excellent health, and excellent mood.
